Bill Gold

Bill Gold just finished a book on his 60+ year career as a movie poster designer. The book will be approx. 450 pages and focus on the finished posters as well as the art that no one, except studio marketing departments, has ever seen.

In a career spanning more than 60 years and more than 2,000 movie poster creations

I admire the fact that he's 90 years old and still wants to put his work out there for the public to see.

-Born in NYC January 3, 1921
-Studied at Pratt Institute in NYC
-Began his design career in 1941 in the advertising department at Warner Bros.
-1962 he created Bill Gold Advertising company in NYC
-In 1994 Bill was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award from The Hollywood Reporter.
